What would you like to do, and how much you would like to apply for?

We support local charities, community and voluntary groups in Surrey whose work benefits our communities. We welcome applications from both new and established groups and also have two funds that award grants to support individuals.

We have over 60 grant making funds, each has their own priorities and criteria. Instead of applying to the separate funds, our Expression of Interest form is designed to save you time. Our grants team will review your request against all those criteria and advise you if we have a donor fund which may be interested in supporting your project.

Expression of Interest Form

We recommend you read our Application Guidance notes before submitting an Expression of Interest.

Please note that we do not award retrospective grants – be sure to allow plenty of time to go through the grants process. For groups applying we would recommend you allow a minimum of 3 months. The process for individuals can be turned around quicker but please do still allow plenty of time, the process can take up to 2 months.

Grants in 4 easy steps

  1. Send us an Expression of Interest. Tell us what you want to do and how much you would like to apply for.
  2. Complete the Online Application Form and attach your supporting documents.
  3. Wait to hear – we aim to give you a decision within 3 months of the deadline
  4. Report back on your project. If you receive a grant we will ask you to send us an End of Grant report.
