The Youth Social Action Fund is offering grants to groups working with young people between the ages of 10 and 20 years old (or 25 for young people with disabilities) in Surrey.
Grants, of up to £5,000, are available to fund additional social action opportunities for young people. The fund is not to cover general youth club provision nor to fund other activities /events that ‘merely’ have young people involved. The fund is to cover targeted programmes of activities and support for young people all aimed at developing their skills and confidence as volunteers in their community.
For this fund there is no requirement to complete an expression of interest. More information and the application form can be found on the Youth Social Action Fund page. The first deadline was 3rd February 2017 a further round for 2017 will be announced in the next few months..
