Hall Hunter Community Fund

We are proud to partner with the Hall Hunter Partnership through the Hall Hunter Community Fund. Renowned for their sustainably produced berries and fruit farms, Hall Hunter is committed to making a positive impact in communities across Surrey. The fund focuses on supporting organisations that promote food security, healthy eating, farming, and education.

Mission and Focus Areas

The Hall Hunter Community Fund provides grants to charitable organisations and community groups, prioritising initiatives in the following areas:

  • Food Security: Ensuring access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food for all members of the community.

  • Healthy Eating: Encouraging dietary habits that contribute to overall health and well-being.

  • Farming: Supporting sustainable agricultural practices and education.

  • Education: Providing learning opportunities related to food production, nutrition, and agriculture.

Impactful Grant

In 2024, the fund awarded its inaugural grant to Stanwell Events, an organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of young people in areas of deprivation within Surrey. This grant facilitated the development of a comprehensive cooking programme that includes:

  • Hands-On Cooking Classes: Engaging young participants in preparing nutritious meals.

  • Gardening Opportunities: Teaching the cultivation of ingredients to foster a connection between food and its sources.

  • Budgeting Workshops: Providing practical guidance on meal planning and cost management.

These sessions empower young individuals to understand the importance of healthy eating, teamwork, and self-sufficiency, instilling pride in their culinary creations.
